Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are now intensifying talks over a move for an Everton transfer target who is reportedly keen on moving to Goodison Park.
Rumour is certainly rife on the blue side of Merseyside with the Toffees reportedly eyeing several deals, both in and out of the club.
Long-term target Iliman Ndiaye is reportedly closing in on his move to Goodison Park and will provide Sean Dyche with much-needed striker cover should Dominic Calvert-Lewin depart.
The Englishman has been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle United – and some pundits have suggested the Toffees should be looking to sell.
Another incoming is also related to Newcastle, and Everton could have just been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Yankuba Minteh.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday [29 June] that the Toffees are keen on landing the 19-year-old Gambian, who impressed on loan with Feyenoord last season.
It’s also believed Minteh views moving to Goodison Park as a priority despite interest from elsewhere.
