Serie A giants Roma are interested in Euro 2024 hero Georges Mikautadze and could make a move for him this summer.
The striker was very impressive for Georgia in the Euros and helped them reach the knockout stages of the competition, making sure that there is no shortage of interest in him.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that Roma want to sign atleast one striker this summer and Tammy Abraham seems likely to depart, with Juventus interested. The club’s new sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has kept an eye on many players in France and Mikautadze is of interest to him.
Metz’s current asking price for him is at €25 million and while reports in France state that he is approaching Monaco, the race isn’t finished yet and Roma are looking at how the situation turns out.
Alexander Sorloth is also of interest to the Roman giants but interest in him is fading because of Villarreal’s asking price of about €35 million and that it isn’t coming down.
