West Ham United are making a move for Paris Saint-Germain outcast Carlos Soler, and the Hammers already have a figure in mind that they’re willing to pay to secure the 27-year-old.
Earlier this month, L’Equipe reported that West Ham United, Brighton, and Real Sociedad are all interested in Soler. More recently, Le Parisien revealed that Real Sociedad might propose a loan deal with an option to buy if the sale of Mikel Merino happens.
According to journalist Nacho Sanchis, Soler is eager to join West Ham, and the club have successfully convinced him to make the move.
West Ham are now focused on securing a loan deal with an obligation to buy as they navigate Financial Fair Play regulations.
Negotiations with PSG are ongoing as they work to finalize the terms. Nonetheless, The Mirror reports that West Ham are preparing a £20 million offer for Soler to bolster their team for this 2024-25 season.
