Steve Cooper has been speaking to the media ahead of taking his Leicester City side to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The away clash represents a huge opportunity for Leicester City to earn their first three points of the season as Crystal Palace also have just one point from three games.
Deadline Day signing Odsonne Edouard will not be available to Steve Cooper given he is on a season-long loan from Palace, so Jamie Vardy will continue to carry the burden of being the only out-and-out centre-forward available.
After consecutive 2-1 defeats in the Premier League following a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on the opening weekend, Cooper will be viewing the next two league fixtures against Palace and Everton as games they should be looking to win.
Steve Cooper provides update on Leicester City internationals, with Bobby De Cordova-Reid still absent
The international break halted cub action before it had really got started, with fans and managers often frustrated by how early in the season the September internationals are played.
If Cooper did not have enough to worry about at Leicester, he would have been sweating over the fitness of the 12 Foxes players away with their respective countries over the past fortnight.
Cooper was asked in his pre-Palace press-conference if he had any fresh injury concerns, to which he responded: ““No. The players have come back from international duty.
“Some of them are still recovering, and some of them had long trips. Bobby [De Cordova-Reid] is still not with us.
“Every team will lose a lot of players and will be staggered in their returns. We’re not different.”
De Cordova-Reid likely to remain on Leicester City bench vs Crystal Palace
De Cordova-Reid arrived for free this summer following the end of his Fulham contract but has failed to impress at Leicester so far.
