Super stopper Aro Muric, whose saves helped Ipswich Town earn a second consecutive Premier League point in a 0-0 draw at Brighton yesterday, said he was just happy to perform his job.

Town battled hard for an impressive draw against the in-form Seagulls, with star man Muric making a string of elite-level stops to earn a first clean sheet of the season.

The 6ft 6ins stopper has had a slightly shaky start to his Town career, but showed what he can bring to the Blues in a superb display.

“It was a really tough away game against a good team but we are really pleased to get a point,” Muric told the Town website.

“They are a good team and they had some chances but I was really pleased to do my job and help the team.

“The crowd were amazing and we heard them supporting us for the whole game, which is huge for us. This was my third game for the club and it was great to hear them.
