Bryan King doesn’t believe Sean Dyche will be worried about getting sacked at Goodison Park.
The ex-Goodison scout claims the 53-year-old “will be compensated” whether he remains with the club or not.
Dean Saunders explained on talkSPORT on Wednesday (18 September, 7:52 am) that Dyche will be well aware a decision over his future could arrive soon.
However, King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – doesn’t expect the Englishman to be particularly concerned.
“We don’t know if Dyche will be manager in January,” King said.
“However, I don’t think he will be worried about whether he has got a job or not. He has got a contract with Everton.
Sean Dyche to be sacked by Everton at Goodison Park?
The decision to sack Dyche would be a truly baffling one.
It is no secret that the Toffees are on a poor run of form. However, they have gone on similar runs such as this multiple times during Dyche’s reign.
Each and every time the Everton boss has been able to pick his players back up and keep them in the Premier League, even under incredibly difficult circumstances.
Therefore, there is no one better suited to fighting Dyche’s current mess than Dyche himself.
While managers seem to get sacked left, right and centre in modern-day football, getting rid of Dyche is not the answer. Everton are in something of a crisis, and it would therefore be difficult to attract a much better manager to take the job.
As a result, unless the club have a high-quality replacement already lined up behind the scenes, now is not the time to get rid of Dyche and embark on an expensive managerial hunt – especially after their takeover saga took yet another twist following the arrival of a new bid (via The Guardian, 17 September).
