Manchester United have been handed three injury boosts ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday. The Eagles welcome the Red Devils to Selhurst Park in Saturday’s later game, with Oliver Glasner and his men still searching for their first league win of the campaign.
United’s start to the season has not been ideal, either, picking up just six points from their first four games, although a comfortable win over Southampton last weekend and a 7-0 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup seem to have lifted spirits significantly.
Though, they are going have to follow up those results with a win at Palace to keep those positive vibes rolling, and they will be helped by a number of injury boosts. Victor Lindelof has been absent of late with a toe injury but has now returned to training with the club website detailing: “Victor Lindelof has resumed training with the Manchester United squad. The Sweden captain has been absent after suffering a toe problem.”
Elsewhere, Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount are also said to return, and while Lindelof is unlikely to feature just yet, Hojlund and Mount just might. “It’s very good news,” United boss Erik ten Hag has said. “They are back on the pitch, they are back in team training and, yeah, we have to decide whether they are fit enough to start. But I think it’s very pleasing they are back with the squad. We have so many games also in this block to cover, so, yeah, very happy.”
