According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Trevoh Chalobah from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Chelsea are willing to offload the 24-year-old, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder.
The report has claimed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino does not have Chalobah in his plans.
Chalobah himself is keen on leaving Chelsea, according to the report.
TEAMtalk has added that Bayern Munich are leading the race for Chalobah.
Tottenham, West Ham United and Fulham are also claimed to be keen on the 24-year-old.
My View: Tottenham Hotspur could struggle to sign Trevoh Chalobah
I do not think that Tottenham Hotspur will be able to sign Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Bayern Munich are keen on the 24-year-old, and I think that Chalobah would prefer a move to the Bundesliga champions to a transfer to Spurs.
Moreover, Chelsea would also prefer selling Chalobah to a club outside England.
After all, Chalobah could go to Tottenham and be a success.
That would reflect poorly on Chelsea.
Chalobah has made 45 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The Englishman has scored three goals, given one assist, and kept 13 clean sheets in those games.
Both Chelsea and Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
