O’Hare is closing in on a return to match action, but another issue with the 25-year-old needs to be addressed by the club in the mean-time.

How long does Callum O’Hare have left on his Coventry City contract?

Much like Viktor Gyokeres and Gustavo Hamer, who were cashed in on over the summer, O’Hare has a contract that runs out in June 2024.

Unlike the aforementioned departed pair though, O’Hare’s injury meant that there has been no major desperation in recent months to get him tied down to a new, extended deal.

It would also be fairly risky to offer extended, enhanced terms to a player that now hasn’t seen the pitch in a competitive match for 10 months, and only when the ex-Aston Villa man has proved his fitness would you expect a big deal to come his way.
