Watts will take Fehoko’s place on the practice squad after the latter was promoted to the Steelers’ 53-man roster. Watts signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent after the 2023 NFL Draft. He was mostly renowned as a deep threat during his final collegiate season at Tulane, where he recorded 33 catches for 657 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. His NCAA career totals at Tulane include 85 catches for 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns, averaging a remarkable 17.6 yards per catch over three years. At his pro day, the 6’2″ 200-pound receiver ran a 4.59-second 40-yard dash.

Watts joined the Packers for the 2023 preseason but was waived at final roster cuts. On September 12, he tried out for the Steelers as a free agent.
