Gareth Steenson predicts an increase in injuries for Exeter City as a sensational forward is scheduled to play against Derby County.
Derby County will “need to decide” on the fitness of two players before the game against Exeter City on Tuesday evening.
Warne revealed in his pre-match press conference that there are “a couple of bits of soreness” in the squad, with decisions to be made over their immediate fitness. He also confirmed that recent absentees Joe Ward and Callum Elder have more training under their belts.
Other than that, Warne says there are “no dramas” when it comes to his team selection for Tuesday evening. That is positive news for the Rams, as they look to turn around their poor start to the season.

“We need a good performance and we need to start the game well. Exeter outplayed Wigan on Saturday and had something like 30 attempts at goal, but the scoreline will say different as they lost 2-0. There’s a lot more to the game than just the scoreline.”
On-loan forward Tyreece John-Jules remains sidelined by a quad injury but is closing in on a return to training. Midfielder Liam Thompson (also quad) is still out of action, along with long-term absentees Jake Rooney (knee) and Elliot Embleton (quad)
