Cardiff City boss Erol Bulut reckons his side should have scored more than four goals in their comfortable win over Huddersfield Town. The Bluebirds returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion last night, cruising to a 4-0 win at the John Smith’s Stadium
Darren Moore admitted his Terriers side never recovered from falling behind inside the opening two minutes. The visitors led 3-0 at the break after goals from Callum Robinson, Dimitrios Goutas and Yakou Meite. An exquisite 55th minute free kick from Perry Ng rounded off the scoring and heaped more misery on Town.It was Cardiff’s first win in four matches and the result lifted the Welsh club into sixth spot in the Championship. When asked about a play-off push this term, Bulut said: “It’s too early to talk about that, anything can happen at this stage of the season.
“Everything can still change, we’ve still got a long way to go in front of us this season. We’ve had really good performances earlier this season and not got the results we’ve deserved.
“Against Swansea and against Ipswich we played really well, but then last week against Blackburn, that was just what I didn’t want to see.
