How is Max Wöber getting on?
Departing Leeds on loan for Borussia Monchengladbach was Max Wöber, one of three players who headed to the Bundesliga in the summer.
His arrival in their defence hasn’t stopped a flow of goals against this season with 19 goals conceded in eight games and just one win on the board so far, not doing well despite parting ways with Daniel Farke in the summer.
The Austrian international has managed to notch two assists in his eight Bundesliga appearances so far this season though, gaining praise from the media in the process.

German outlet Kicker, relayed by Fussball News, are now claiming that Monchengladbach are keen on making Wöber’s stay at the club permanent in 2024.
He joined Leeds for around £10million (€11.5m) in the January window, and it appears that the Bundesliga side are eyeing a similar fee to bring him in.
It is claimed that a fee in the lower double-digits (euro’s) will be needed to convince Leeds to sell, seemingly wanting to break even on the defender.
