Manager adds that young, amazing star is prepared for Exeter test.
Ali Smith is prepared to put another shift in as City aim for a third-straight win on Saturday.
The Imps were in action on Tuesday night but Smith insists the squad will be ready to go again at Exeter City thanks to the work that goes on behind the scenes.
He said: “I always enjoy being out on the pitch and playing games. We have got a really good team behind us, with Mark Pease and the rest of the guys too.
“We have a great schedule and hit all the areas we need to hit in our body to make sure we are conditioned, especially for quick turnarounds like Tuesday and Saturday.
“The fixtures are coming thick and fast but that’s part of our job and we are going to give it our all in each game to try and pick up points.”
Smith has also been impressed by the versatility shown by his team-mates in recent weeks and wants to use that as they go in search of another three points this weekend.
He added: “Despite having big players in the team, I think we have technical abilities and that was shown on Tuesday evening. It’s good to have both sides to our game.
“We are going to Exeter to try and execute our game plan like we always do and look to get all three points. We want to keep trying to climb that table.”
