Bury Town’s young academy goalkeeper has been recalled.as rumors from Exeter and Wrexham circulate
Ipswich Town academy keeper Danny Cullum has been recalled from his loan spell with Suffolk non-league side Bury Town, who are managed by ex-Blues’ midfielder Cole Skuse.
The second-year scholar joined the Isthmian North Division side in the summer and has featured in every league, FA Cup and FA Trophy game for them this season so far.
He most notably saved two penalties in the shoot-out victory over Walthamstow in the FA Trophy earlier this season.
But Bury have now signed Charlie Beckwith from Thurlow Nunn Premier Division side Lakenheath FC on a permanent basis.
“I hope that benefits his career going forward and if there is the opportunity to work with him again in the future it is one we will explore”
Cullum has been at Town since the age of eight, signing a full-time scholarship in 2022 and spent time on loan at Thurlow Nunn League side Brantham Athletic last season.
Another potential loan move will be on the cards for him to gain further senior appearances.
