Aston Villa is set to make a January offer for Beşiktaş’s 18-year-old striker Semih Kılıçsoy during the halftime break of their next match according to Aksam newspaper.
Per the source, Villa sporting director Monchi has been tracking Kılıçsoy for some time and met with Beşiktaş to discuss a transfer last summer.

However, the Black Eagles were not willing to sell the player at the time.
However, it appears that Aston Villa is now determined to sign Kılıçsoy and is willing to make a significant offer for him in the winter break.
Kılıçsoy is a highly rated prospect and has said that he would be willing to go on loan to Aston Villa to help his development.
Monchi has made it clear that he does not want the youngster on loan, if a deal is reached it will be for a permanent move.
It remains to be seen whether Beşiktaş will be willing to sell Kılıçsoy, but Aston Villa are certainly determined to sign him.
The 18-year-old broke into the first team this season and is expected to see his playing time increase under newly appointed manager Burak Yilmaz.
The young forward had an impressive record at U19 level scoring 42 goals and six assists before being fast tracked to the senior team.
