The limited-edition varsity jacket was open to purchase, which will close on closes on November 24. The auction is in support of the Eagles Autism Foundation signed by Kelce, 31, with “Go Birds!” written on the waistband.
On the “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce said that the jacket was put up for auction and is currently at a price that would bring great competition.
He said,
“This jacket is known as the Princess Diana jacket because there is an iconic photo of Princess Diana wearing this Kelly Green Eagle’s jacket. The Eagles Autism Foundation is auctioning off this jacket. It’s up to over $20,000 right now. In fact, at one point, Rob McElhenney was the top bidder with $10,050.”
The auction, was live and open Wednesday, November 8. As displayed on the Eagles Autism Foundation portal, the current for the jacket is at $35,000.
He expressed interest in the jacket by tweeting, Yes, please. A great cause and the greatest jacket ever made? He also shared a screenshot indicating that he was the highest bidder.
Recently, The NFL team announced that the auction will open and revealed the return of the “iconic ’90s Eagles Letterman Jacket” once worn by the late Princess Diana.
