REPORT: Coventry City U21s snatch late winner away at Hull City

Coventry City Under-21s snatched a late winner away at Hull City on Monday evening thanks to goals from Rylie Siddall and Charlie Finney.

City took the lead on 16 minutes through a Siddall opener before Tigers man Joseph Johnson levelled the game just before half-time.

The closely-fought contest went down to the final moments of the fixture when Finney, introduced from the bench just moments earlier, scored the game’s winning goal in the 87th minute.

The result moved the young Sky Blues to ninth in the Professional Development League after six games.

Result: Hull City U21s 1-2 Coventry City U21s.
