On Wednesday, the Seahawks added rookie running back SaRodorick Thompson to the practice squad.
The Seahawks signed SaRodorick Thompson to the practice squad Wednesday, bringing back the rookie running back who spent training camp in Seattle and started the season on the practice squad before being released in October.
The Seahawks had an open spot on the practice squad with quarterback Brett Rypien signing to the Jets 53-man roster on Tuesday.
Thompson, who went undrafted out of Texas Tech, rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in the preseason, then made his NFL regular-season debut in Week 8 after being elevated from the practice squad, playing two snaps in a win over the Cardinals.
