Celtic open O’Riley talks amid growing interest
Leeds were heavily linked with a move for Danish midfielder Matt O’Riley in the summer and the 22-year-old is now in talks to extend his stay with Celtic.
According to Sky Sports, Leeds saw a bid rejected for O’Riley in the summer and there is expected to be interest from a host of clubs across Europe in January, according to the report.
Since joining Celtic from MK Dons, O’Riley has won four major trophies and has established himself as a key man at Parkhead, under both Ange Postecoglou and now Brendan Rodgers.
Leeds United have previously been linked with a move for Philadelphia Union left-back Kai Wagner and he is set to become a free agent ahead of the January transfer window.
