The Philadelphia Phillies are one team that has been quiet so far this offseason.

They made one big move by bringing back one of their own.

Bringing back starting pitcher Aaron Nola was something the Phillies wanted to do.

They were able to get that done by giving Nola a seven-year contract worth $172 million.

But, the Phillies feel like they can add more to their starting rotation.

Pitching usually wins in the playoffs and the Phillies want to bolster their rotation.

That is why they are showing significant interest in Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

According to Jon Heyman via FOX Sports: MLB, the Phillies brought in Yamamoto for a visit on Thursday.

Many teams have gotten a crack at Yamamoto, as interest in him is through the roof.A Philadelphia Phillies baseball hat sits in the dugout during the game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on April 24, 2016 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

But, it looks like he is going to command a lot of money on the open market.

One team Yamamoto has been linked to is the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After adding Shohei Ohtani and Tyler Glasnow, the Dodgers are far from done.

They seem destined to pay whatever is necessary to get Yamamoto to sign.
