Palmer has told the Men In Blazers podcast of what makes Wrexham such a special place to work, with everybody pulling in the same direction: “I have met a lot of d*ckheads in football. To be fair, some people might say I was one of them! There are none in our dressing room. Everyone is together. I’m out injured at the moment but it doesn’t matter if you are injured, if you are out of the squad, out of form. There is such a togetherness. I have been in other dressing rooms where it gets a little bit acidic and people either don’t care or don’t want the team to win. Ollie Palmer Paul Mullin Wrexham 2023-24It’s not like that here. Everyone wants the absolute best. Whether it is on the field or off the field, whether it is scoring a goal or someone doing something for a charity, people just help each other. I feel like that shows on the pitch.”
