Blackburn Rovers are close to an agreement to sell midfielder Adam Wharton to Premier League side Crystal Palace, BBC Radio Lancashire reports.
The 19-year-old will travel to London on Tuesday as a deal moves nearer.
Wharton came through Blackburn’s academy and has gone on to make a total of 51 appearances for the club.
An England Under-20 international, he has made 29 appearances this term and scored against Huddersfield in their 1-1 draw earlier this month.
However, he was an unused substitute as Blackburn beat Wrexham in the FA Cup fourth round on Monday.
Wharton’s older brother Scott also plays for Rovers, as a centre-back.
