Leeds United v Rotherham United - Sky Bet ChampionshipDaniel Farke has shared an injury update ahead of Leeds United’s trip to Plymouth Argyle tomorrow.

The Whites will be looking to make it seven wins in a row in the Championship but are set to be without a couple of key players for the two sides’ third meeting in just three weeks.

Pascal Struijk, Sam Byram, Patrick Bamford, Jamie Shackleton, Karl Darlow and Stuart Dallas were the names missing from the midweek win at Swansea City, and a new update has been provided today.

Bamford had been pencilled into start in South Wales on Tuesday but was forced to drop out in the warm-up due to some muscular problems, with Joel Piroe replacing him.Leeds United v Rotherham United - Sky Bet Championship

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Farke has provided an update on how long Bamford will be out for, which is looking likely to be for the next two matches.

Farke confirms Bamford absence

He said: “Sadly he’s not available for this game. He has some problems with his calf. We don’t expect him to be out for too long. I don’t expect him to be available for Leicester. We think he will be back for the cup game or the league fixture after.”

This injury comes at the worst possible time for the £7 million striker as he had just claimed he is the happiest he has been on the pitch for a very long time.
