The Everton fan advisory board have written to the Premier League, Farhad Moshiri and 777 Partners amid “significant worry” about the future of the club.
As shared on X, the board have sought answers from those involved about when a decision will be made about the proposed takeover and whether 777 will be deemed a viable option for the club.
It was also asked what plans would be in place to support Everton should the 777 deal fall through, as the club are in the midst of a relegation battle amid financial uncertainty.
An upcoming fan engagement meeting has also been booked in online for 27 March, too.
Everton fan advisory board demand answers on 777 Partners’ takeover
777 Partners have always been vocal in their confidence in completing the takeover, while the last we heard from Richard Masters was that there were lingering concerns, and most recently the Premier League issued their conditional approval.
Moshiri, meanwhile, has been largely silent throughout the process, having agreed to the sale of his shares before removing himself almost entirely from the club with no further comment or update provided for the fans.
Should the fan advisory board hear back from any of the relevant parties, it should be seen as a success for fans who have so often been left in the dark, and at such a crucial time for the football club, concerns are higher than ever.
