Everton loanee Sean McAllister, who is on loan at Inverness, may now be out for the rest of the season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert has reacted to an update about his thigh which sees him missing up to six weeks of action.

While specifics are not given over how intense his injury is, he’s unlikely to return before the end of April at the earliest.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about McAllister:

This sounds like a muscular injury as the club mentioning a thigh injury is very vague so it’s hard to give any more specifics.

If the timeline is indeed six weeks, then I’d expect him to be back in individual around a month or so with an increasing focus on sport-specific movements.

That means he’ll be back in full training sometime in May.
