Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has emerged on the radar of Everton ahead of the summer, according to a report by TuttoJuve.Leicester City, Everton join Crystal Palace in pursuit of EFL ace, deal up this summer

Leicester City risk losing the Nigeria international for nothing at the end of this season.

Ndidi, 27, sees his contract at the King Power Stadium expire in late June and he is yet to put pen-to-paper on an extension meaning he will become a free agent as things stand.

According to TuttoJuve, Everton are interested in luring him to Goodison Park and have joined the likes of Crystal Palace, West Ham, Juventus, Getafe and Fenerbahce in pursuit of him.

It seems increasing likely that Ndidi will be leaving Leicester City following the end of this campaign the longer that he doesn’t sign a new deal.

He joined the Foxes back in 2017 and has since made 265 appearances in all competitions for them to date, 28 of which have come this term, and he has scored 15 goals.

Ndidi helped his current club win the FA Cup back in 2021 after they beat Chelsea in the final at Wembley. However, he couldn’t prevent them from relegation from the Premier League last year.

He has stayed put since they slipped into the Championship but he would be very unlikely to play in the second tier for another season if they fail to go up.

Enzo Maresca’s side are currently battling it out with the likes of Ipswich Town, Leeds United and Southampton for promotion to the top flight.
