Brighton are planning to submitted a new bid for Leicester City star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Seagulls saw offers rejected for Dewsbury-Hall in the January transfer window as they looked to add to their midfield options.

But the Premier League side retain a strong interest in taking the 25-year-old to the Amex, with the Foxes likely to cash in on him this summer after announcing a loss of £90million in their latest accounts.

Brighton are increasingly hopeful of landing a deal for the English midfielder on the back of his outstanding performances in the Championship this season.

Brighton could face competition to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Football Insider revealed earlier this month that Dewsbury-Hall could be available for as little as £30million this summer, having previously slapped a £40million-plus price tag on his head.

The creative midfielder has been one of the standout players in the Championship this season, registering 12 goals and 14 assists in 43 appearances.

That form led to him being among the nominees for the league’s Player of the Year, but he was just beaten to the award by Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.

Dewsbury-Hall has been the subject of interest from various Premier League clubs since Leicester were relegated last season, with Football Insider revealing earlier this month that Brighton are joined in the race to sign him by Tottenham and Brentford.
