Despite contract extension talks, Hawaii’s Tua Tagovailoa was a full participant.

For the first time this summer, Tagovailoa met with the Miami media this week and touched on a number of topics.

From the quarterback’s offseason weight loss, to his ongoing negotiations with the Dolphins as both sides try to ink a new agreement.

The Ewa Beach native is currently in his fifth year option of his rookie contract which will roughly pay out to just over $23 million this coming season.

“Am I concerned about it? As expected, the former Saint Louis Crusader kept details of his talks close to the vest, but did acknowledge the ever fluctuating quarterback pay scal as he watches other QBs around the league sign lucrative deals.
