Wrexham should consider an attempt to make a loan move for a Premier League youngster after the latest transfer decision.

More summer arrivals are expected at Wrexham with manager Phil Parkinson keen to continue the summer spending.

The former Sunderland boss revealed his concerns about the squad and his desire in the window after recent transfer talks with Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

Despite signing five new players, the 56-year-old coach believes he needs extra quality to help the Red Dragons be competitive in the coming League One campaign.

The former Bradford City coach may look to strengthen his attacking options after improving his midfield and defensive line with the summer signings of George Dobson, Lewis Brunt, and Sebastian Revan.

The club also secured the signatures of goalkeepers Arthur Okonkwo, and Callum Burton.

Wrexham has recently been linked with making early enquiries into a loan move for Tottenham Hotspur youngster Will Lankshear.

Parkinson may have another opportunity to bring in a young Premier League gem in Joe Hugill after Manchester United have reportedly made a transfer decision on the young striker.
