Serie A side Roma could yet see Paulo Dybala depart the club, even though the player has rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about the situation of La Joya, detailing how his future looks like and how things can change later in the transfer window.

Al-Qadsiah had made an offer for Dybala on the 1st of August and they had offered €20 million over a two-year deal to the player. But Dybala rejected that approach as he wants to stay in Europe and because his wife doesn’t want to move to a completely different culture.

In a recent pre-season game against Everton, Dybala was on the bench for Roma and this led to question marks about his future. It is reported that it will not be a surprise to see Dybala on the bench in Roma’s Serie A opener, because he is no longer a guaranteed starter in the system under Daniele de Rossi.

Roma want to keep him but if a suitable offer comes in, they won’t be against the exit because La Joya has a big wage. The player has informed De Rossi that if a European club comes in for him, he would prefer an exit, especially if the suitor offers European football as well.

There is a possibility of an exit but it all depends on what sort of offer comes in.
