West Brom target Uros Racic arrives in England
West Brom could soon announce the signing of 12 cap Serbian international Uros Racic – the Sassuolo midfielder has arrived in the Midlands and has reportedly been ‘shown around the training ground’. As such, it seems the Baggies’ efforts to bring him on board are now reaching their final stages.
This is according to a post on X (formerly Twitter) from TalkWBA, who wrote: “I can confirm that Uroš Račić has arrived in England and was shown around the training ground yesterday. The deal is expected to be completed very soon barring any last min change with an official announcement imminent.”
Last season, Racic made 23 appearances in all competitions for Sassuolo, scoring a single goal along the way. An adaptable player, he is capable of playing as both a central midfielder and in the holding role – furthermore, as 6ft 3, he also provides a formidable aerial presence in the middle of the park.
