Just over a week of the transfer window remains and there remains a great deal of business to be done in the Premier League.

Everton are no different and Goodison Park could yet see some more arrivals before the end of August. Sean Dyche has already added Jesper Lindstrøm from Napoli, Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa, Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille and Jake O’Brien from Lyon. Jack Harrison has joined on loan from Lee

The former Clarets boss believes some of those players require more experience before making an impact however. “We’ve brought some players in this summer who we think can be more effective. They’re going to learn about the Premier League, particularly Ili and Jesper, but they haven’t experienced it yet,” he said.

“It’s my job to give them a chance when they are ready to go and perform. At this moment, I still think there’s a bit of work to be done and a bit of awareness for them to understand about the Premier League.”

The Toffees have also see some significant departures. Amadou Onana left for Aston Villa, as did Lewis Dobbin, while Ben Godfrey deparated for pastures new with Atalanta.

What could lie ahead? Mirror Football takes a look at what could be a dream final week or so in the transfer market.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin extends

The prospect of new signings does not appear to be too high after Dyche suggested new deals were ‘unlikely’, so being forced into new business would not be ideal. The sale of Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been linked to the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle and West Ham but a move is yet to come to fruition.

The striker’s departure would put pressure on Everton to return to the market with the 27-year-old still proving to be first choice at Goodison. Keeping the player would require a new contract however, which he has so far appeared reluctant to sign. .
