Leicester City have sanctioned a loan transfer for Sammy Braybrooke.
The 20-year-old midfielder will spend the season with Scottish Premiership side Dundee.
The Foxes confirmed his King Power Stadium departure in a statement, which read: “Highly rated young Leicester City midfielder Sammy Braybrooke will spend the 2024/25 season on loan with Scottish Premiership side Dundee Football Club, subject to league and international approval.
“The 20-year-old, who signed a new long-term contract with the Foxes last year, has been one of the star performers from the Club’s Academy in recent seasons, having been at the Football Club since the age of eight.
“An England youth international who captained his nation at Under-19s level, Sammy’s progress has already seen him make his senior debut for Leicester City. That first appearance came as a substitute in a 3-0 Carabao Cup victory over Newport County in November 2022, with his development now set to continue further in Scotland’s top-flight.
“He joins a Dundee side who currently sit fourth in the Premiership after four games and who next play host to St. Mirren in the league on Saturday 31 August at Scot Foam Stadium.”
