We reported yesterday about the move of Sammy Braybrooke to Dundee, the deal was officially confirmed today as we also had another departure in Zach Booth, joining Dutch club Excelsior for an undisclosed fee.

We are also waiting for the final touch on the deal regarding Genk midfielder Bilal El Khannouss. He is possibly at a medical with Leicester at this point. The deal is done and agreed between player and clubs. We are also waiting on further information regarding one forgotten man, Nathan Opoku, as he could be one to consider, as a back up opiton up front.

Zach Booth made an impression last season, playing at the highest level in Dutch football with Volendam, eventually being relegated, but still enough to have given other clubs the notice. He was on the field 27 times last season in the Eresdivisie, scoring twice. Excelsior is currently playing in the 2nd tier and the USA U.19 international will most certainly be a strengthening signing.

Nathan Opoku is reported back at Leicester, but not been seen in the first team environment. He looks to be out injured, but still strange to see him not even mentioned anywhere.

Opoku (23) must be a player to rate as he has scored 5 goals in 27 league games for OH Leuven. He was a bit unlucky with injuries during his days with the sister club, but remain on a list of players at Leicester, without getting a number when they were announced.

Steve Cooper gave Wales U.21 international Chris Popov the chance yesterday vs. Tranmere, coming close to scoring, coming off the subs bench in the 73rd minute. Popov (19) must surely be at a level a bit below Opoku, but if he is not available, he could of course not be counted.

We will wait and see what type of outcome we will see for the Ghana forward, and if staying at the club and part of the camp, of course building a relation to his fellow countrymen Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu.
