West Ham summer signing Carlos Soler is on £240k/week wages at PSG so is unlikely to permanently move to the London Stadium, according to Hammers News.
The news outlet quoted a spokesperson from the club on 3 September who stated that signing him on a permanent basis next summer is going to be difficult to get over the line.
The Spain international moved to the London Stadium in August on loan in order to be a first-team regular.
“Soler is on £240k a week at PSG,” the club spokesman exclusively told Hammers News.
“So it’s going to be hard to do a permanent deal.”
West Ham must first gauge if Carlos Soler is the right fit
If Soler significantly exceeds expectations for the Hammers, the club might reconsider their stance on a permanent deal despite his high wages at PSG.
His performance could justify the investment, especially if he becomes integral to the team’s success.
