Tom has expressed regret about his red card against Michael Flynn’s Robins. Walsall midfielder Tom Knowles has extended an apology to the Saddlers supporters following his red card against Swindon Town on Saturday afternoon. Knowles, who had just recently returned to action after a lengthy layoff, was shown the red card after accumulating two yellow cards in a few second-half minutes, thus contributing to the Red’s defeat.
“After reflecting on yesterday,” Tom remarked on his official Twitter feed, “I just want to apologise to the fans, staff, and players for getting sent off and letting people down.”While I disagree with the decision, I can’t reverse what happened, and this is something I will learn from.”
