Fotospor have suggested that it is not just Galatasaray winger Kerem Akturkoglu that Tottenham have their eye on but also his club teammate Sacha Boey.
Over the last few weeks, there has been plenty of speculation linking Akturkoglu with a move to Spurs, with Fotomac stating at the start of the month that the North London club are keeping a close eye on the attacker ahead of the January window.
Milliyet revealed last week that the Lilywhites reached out to Galatasaray and informed them of their intention to send scouts to watch the 25-year-old in action.
Spurs are looking at Akturkoglu and Sacha Boey
The Turkey international played 85 minutes as Galatasaray emerged with a 2-1 win over Besiktas at the weekend, owing to a Mauro Icardi brace, but according to Fotospor’s latest update, Tottenham representatives did not arrive at RAMS Park for the clash.
The report states that it is unclear if they are expected to be in attendance during Istanbul club’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich this week
The outlet adds that it is not just Akturkoglu who Spurs are monitoring but also right-back Boey, who the Premier League side consider to be a ‘player to act on’.
Spurs Web Opinion
I do not think there is any chance that Tottenham would be in the market for a right-back in January. Spurs fans should take these reports from Turkey with a pinch of salt as no British outlets have reported on the club’s interest in the likes of Boey and Akturkoglu.
