Fanaticos (as translated by Sport Witness) have claimed that Tottenham are one of several Premier League clubs willing to meet Club America’s asking price for Sebastian Caceres in January.

Tottenham’s lack of options at centre-back is well documented, with multiple outlets reporting over the last few weeks that the Lilywhites are prioritising strengthening that area in January (GiveMeSport).

Spurs’ interest in Caceres first came to light last week when Football Insider revealed that Ange Postecoglou’s men were left impressed by the player’s solid display in Uruguay’s 2-0 win over Brazil during the recent international break.

A few days ago, Record named Tottenham and Sevilla as the two clubs eyeing Caceres and suggested that Club America are increasingly resigned to the player leaving

Several PL clubs interested in Sebastian Caceres

Fanaticos have now claimed that Tottenham are not the only Premier League club who admire the 24-year-old, with the player also on the radars of Fulham, Manchester United and West Ham ahead of January.

The outlet adds that all of these clubs are ‘willing to spend’ what is required to sign the Uruguayan when the transfer window reopens.

The publication reveals that they have heard from sources close to Club America that the Mexican club would want at least $5m (£4.1m) for Caceres.

While there is no guarantee that Caceres is good enough for the Premier League, the low asking price will mean that it would be a relatively risk-free gamble for the likes of Spurs.
