You probably saw the Spotify Wrapped passing by on your socials last week. Friends sharing lists including the most listened to songs, artists and podcasts. Team TOTO Dart Kings went to investigate and asked the best Dutch darters for their favourite song.
The TOTO Dart Kings is a professional darts team consisting of Dutch players Michael van Gerwen, Raymond van Barneveld, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Danny Noppert, Gian van Veen and Vincent van der Voort. From the team, they have access to a nutritionist, osteopath, mental coach, cook, orthomolecular doctor and a haptonomist.
But they appear to have diverse music tastes. Van Gerwen, for example, prefers to listen to The World’s Greatest by R. Kelly. Van Barneveld seems to like rock music more, as he has I Want To Break Free by Queen at number one.
Vincent van der Voort is more of the Dutch-language music. His favourite song is Blood, Sweat and Tears by Andre Hazes. Danny Noppert also has a Dutch song at number one. The song Paracetamollen by Flemming is his top song. Wrapped Around Your Finger by Post Malone is Van Veen’s favourite song. This came as no surprise to him either, because Van Veen always listens to this song right before he has to play a match.
