Juve are one of the teams to have been credited with an interest in Sancho over the summer. But before being in a position to make any big signings in the transfer window, the Old Lady have been looking to cash in on one of their growing talents.

There has been somewhat of a saga surrounding the future of Matias Soule. The 21-year-old shone while on loan with Frosinone last season, despite their relegation from Serie A.

His performances led to a transfer race for his signature, once it was established that Juve would be willing to let him leave. Leicester City and Roma have been the two clubs battling it out for the young Argentine.

Various reports in Italy claim that both sides have made offers, but the player preferred to stay in Serie A and play for Roma, while Juventus would prefer him to move to the Premier League with Leicester.Matias Soule of Juventus during a training session.

It seems that the player’s will may have won out. Journalist Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Soule is close to moving to Roma for a fee of €30 million (£25 million), including add-ons.

If that deal does go through, then it frees up cash for Juventus to move for their own targets, including Sancho, before the end of the window. The former England man is now back with United after spending the second half of the season on loan with Borussia Dortmund

He joined the German side in January after a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag. There has since been clear the air talks and Sancho is part of the United squad for the pre-season tour of the USA.

If they are to sell this summer, United are reportedly asking for a fee of £40 million. If Juve would be willing to spend that is still to be seen.Matias Soule of Juventus during a training session.

The Italian club are said to have made contact with Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi over a possible move. Given that he plays in the same position as Sancho, it may suggest that they are looking at potential alternatives.
