The former Chelsea striker struggled with injury in the 2023-24 campaign as he remained sidelined for the majority of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury. He appeared in just 12 matches across all competitions, scoring once and providing as many assists.
In the summer transfer window, the 26-year-old has been linked with a move to AC Milan, but De Rossi claimed that he has full faith in Abraham’s abilities and that he is counting on the forward to deliver for the club in the upcoming campaign.
