Jamie Vardy’s likelihood of playing for Leicester City against Tottenham Hotspur is known.
The Foxes kick off the new season on Monday, August 19th, with a meeting against Tottenham Hotspur.
Leicester City secured promotion from the Championship last term and now face a fight for survival under new manager, Steve Cooper.
So far, things are not going too well for the former Nottingham Forest boss at the King Power Stadium.
The Midlands outfit have lost three of their last four pre-season season friendlies, the latest being a 1-0 defeat to Palermo.
One of the biggest concerns for Leicester over the last month or so is their lackluster atta
The Foxes have failed to score in their previous two matches, which likely has something to do with their striker issues.
Kelechi Iheanacho has left the club on a free transfer, while Jamie Vardy is injured.
Jamie Vardy injury update ahead of Tottenham
Despite now being 37, Vardy remains Leicester’s primary number nine and was their top scorer during their promotion-winning campaign.
The former England international scored 18 in 35 league matches during the 2023/24 season and was expected to lead the line for Cooper’s side in the coming season.

Leicester City need to replace Jamie Vardy
With Vardy in the twilight of his playing career, Leicester should no longer be relying on him to provide the majority of their goals.

Chelsea striker David Fofan has been linked with Leicester recently but he lacks experience and may struggle to perform well enough to keep the Foxes up.
Jordan Ayew is a target of Coopers as well but his return of 37 goals in 274 Premier League appearances is underwhelming.
As a result, the Midlands outfit should be looking elsewhere if they want to find a proper replacement for Vardy in the remainder of the transfer window.
Should they fail to do so, it is hard to see them staying up by relying on a 37-year-old to provide their goal th
