Multiple reports state that OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo lost patience with Juventus and decided to accept the West Ham United proposal worth €40m plus a sell-on fee.

The Bianconeri were confident that they had done enough with an increased offer worth €5m for the loan and an option to buy for a further €30m.

However, transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano revealed late Thursday night that Nice had accepted an improved West Ham bid worth €40m plus a percentage of the sell-on fee.

Todibo finally tired of waiting for Juventus

The Premier League side has out-bid Juve before this summer and the player always stalled because he was waiting for the Turin giants.

The difference this time is that multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia report Todibo lost patience with Juventus and decided to accept West Ham.

There could be a medical as early as Friday in London after director Tim Steiden flew out to convince him.

He felt disrespected by Juventus refusing to go beyond a loan with option to buy, refusing to give Nice an obligation.
