ARSENAL WANT £30M WONDERKID AFTER TOTTENHAM BACKED AWAY….

Arsenal are now showing an interest in New England Revolution wonderkid Noel Buck after a trial spell with Tottenham Hotspur was scrapped.

Former Tottenham Hotspur target Noel Buck could now end up with North London rivals Arsenal.

The American links to Arsenal are pretty clear with the Kroenke family running the show at the Emirates Stadium.

We have seen Arsenal sign American internationals Matt Turner and Auston Trusty in recent times whilst Jack Wilshere is now wanted as the new Colorado Rapids boss.

There could yet be an American arrival at Arsenal though with the Gunners now keen on a promising young kid

Arsenal want American wonderkid Noel Buck

The Athletic’s Tom Bogert now reports that Arsenal are one of a number of clubs interested in signing New England Revolution talent Noel Buck.

It’s stated that Manchester City and Burnley are also keen on Buck, alongside a number of Bundesliga clubs.

Bogert suggests that a deal worth up to $8million (£6.6million) could be in the pipeline, but it’s unclear just when that would take place.

Bogert highlights that the move could materialise at any point over the next 18 months, with interest now mounting.

Buck, 18, was born in Massachusetts and has already bagged three goals in 24 MLS games for New England Revolution.

Buck has now picked up two caps for the England Under-19’s having switched away from playing for America – potentially paving the way for a Premier League move

Tottenham Hotspur could now miss out on Buck

Arsenal will be attracted to Buck’s potential anyway, but there could be another factor which can make a potential deal even sweeter.

Bogert reported in August that Tottenham were very interested but Buck’s performance in Major League Soccer games meant he had become more expensive than Spurs had hoped.

Buck has also admitted that Tottenham invited him for training last season but ‘it didn’t work out’, with that trial spell seemingly scrapped.

Fast forward to the present day and Spurs may now see Buck join their bitter rivals Arsenal instead; a difficult twist of fate for Tottenham.

Maybe Spurs will get back into the race for Buck in the hope of fending off Arsenal, but there is a feeling that they may now have missed the boat.
