Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

A report from TeamTalk claims that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are both keen on signing the 24-year-old defender.

Chalobah has struggled for regular game time at the London club and it remains to be seen whether he pushes for a move away from Stamford Bridge in January. Apparently, clubs from Germany and Italy are keen on the player as well.

Tottenham need to add more depth to their defensive unit and the 24-year-old would be the ideal signing for them.

The Chelsea man is versatile enough to operate as the central defender as well as a full-back. Furthermore, his arrival will add tactical flexibility to the side. The Chelsea defender is capable of operating in a back three as well as a back four.

Tottenham have started the season well and they are currently second in the league table. They will look to finish in the Champions League positions this season and compete for domestic trophies.

Signing the right players in January could give the side a huge lift and Chalobah will certainly improve them at the back.
