Austria international Marco Friedl has dismissed links to Nottingham Forest and says there have been no discussions over a move to the City Ground.
Forest are believed to be in the hunt for a new centre-back and Friedl’s name has cropped up as a potential candidate.
But the player has distanced himself from that speculation insisting he is currently happy where he is despite claim that he was keen on a move to the Premier League.
“These are rumours, I have always said how comfortable I feel here and that I still have a lot planned with the club,” he said.
Forest were claimed to have made contact with the player’s representatives with his fee said to be around £10m to £15m.
But Bremen are under no pressure to sell although it is reported they would consider a switch for the right price.
